How to grill chicken feet

There are many ways to cook chicken feet. Grilled chicken feet are a common  and taste good.Grilled chicken feet are easier to learn and easy to succeed.

Ingredient
10 chicken feet
15 ml cooking wine
15 ml light soy sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
kosher pepper and aniseed

Steps for grilling chicken feet
1. Wash the chicken feet and remove the toenails.
2. marinade (if there is no ready-made marinade at home, you can use light soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, salt, pepper, aniseed and other seasonings you like. Add water and mix it slowly and boil it to make marinade.
3. Put the chicken feet into the marinade and cook for 15-20 minutes at big fire. Steam until chopsticks can easily pass through the chicken feet.
4. Take the chicken feet out and cool down with cold water, and soak for 10 minutes to remove the mucus on the surface of the chicken feet.
5. Transfer the chicken feet in a container, add the marinade and rub thoroughly to ensure the marinade and the chicken claws are thoroughly mixed and marinate for 1 hour.
6. Take out the marinated chicken feet, thread the chicken feet with stainless steel skewers. If you use wooden or bamboo skewers, soak the skewers in water for 12 hours to prevent from burning.
7. Preheat the grill over medium-high temperature. Place a grill mat on the grate. Grill mat made from Teflon is non-stick, which can make grill clean.
8. Transfer the skewered chicken feet to grill and brush a layer of oil. It takes about 5-6 minutes for the the surface of chicken feet turning golden brown.
9. Flip with long-handed tongs and brush a layer of oil and marinade. Grill for another 5 minutes until on the surface of the chicken feet becoming gold brown.

Tips: It is important that the chicken feet should be fully soaked to remove blood and dirt, which can avoid chicken feet turning black when grilling.

Moreover, when chicken feet are soaked with feet, the meat can be more elastic and it tastes more delicious.
