Butcher paper is perfect for wrap smoking meat and brisket

I bought this butcher paper for wrapping a brisket after smoking to "stall". It was easy to use, and held together well after getting grease on it while cooking. I then pulled it off the smoker and put it in an ice chest for a couple of hours, still wrapped in the butcher paper. It did what it was supposed to do, and made the meat easy to handle after wrapping. Great price for what may be a lifetime of butcher paper. I use as bird cage liners. It is excellent for little pet as birds. Birds have a very delicate respiratory system. Butcher Paper is raw, plain (no toxins), FDA approved, reinforced to prevent leaking, environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable.

Butcher Paper is much safer to use than plastic or aluminum foil. Works great with freezer tape. I would recommend this butcher paper.  I purchased this paper so I could put it under a cat litter box. My feline friend was very sick so when he defecated it was like water. Underneath the butcher block paper was a plastic liner so the wetness didn't seep onto the floor. All I needed to do then was roll up the butcher block paper and discard it. Sadly, my feline friend died on December 26, 2018. He died of an incurable disease called "Feline Infectious Pertonitis." He was only 2 years and 8 months old.I have always finished smoking brisket by wrapping the meat in foil. I decided to try butcher paper and bought this because it looked like a good value. Best brisket I have ever cooked. No more foil for me...brown paper to the end of time.

I've gotten so much use from this roll so far, and I still have a ton of it left. I used it to make a bunch of crafts for my nephew's birthday party, and have been using it for minimalist, crafty wrapping paper! Love it! This is really great stuff! I will say, however, that if you’re buying this as a cute gift wrap, it won’t work. Tape does not stick to it. It’s a little thinner than I thought it would be too. The Paper worked great for padding in boxes for moving. Won't leave ink stains like Newspaper. Product that arrived was as described. No complaints. I like that the butcher paper roll was in a bag with core plugs so I can keep the unused portion clean. Just wrapped up some pork ribs in this paper. The ribs turned out great, and better than using Al foil. First time user of Butcher paper for smoking, it worked out great.

Smoked my first brisket and wrapped using this paper after reaching the color I was looking for. Worked like a champ! As expected, this is great butcher paper. I have used it already for the last rack of ribs that I smoked, and the paper held up fine for the two hours that I had the ribs wrapped in about 275 degree temperatures. Purchased this for wrapping brisket on the smoker. Arrived on time and was as described!
