how to eliminate flare ups when grilling

I have always simply cooked hamburgers, steaks, etc. on my grill. Last night I cooked chicken and vegetables on the BBQ grill mat. It was a delicious meal and clean up a snap. This weekend when grandkids come for breakfast I plan to grill pancakes! My husband thinks I am crazy but - who cares? I'm not sure he is all "there" either. Barbecued steaks and veggies using both BBQ grill mat to cover grill. Great to flip veggies and not lose them through the grate. All were tasty and the mats cleaned up nicely even after being left on the barbecue overnight.

Cooked a pork loin on the barbecue mat and didn't have to worry about flare ups and burnt edges. Left it nice and crispy outside and cooked perfectly! We have used it multiple time on our Green Mountain pellet grill and they work very well. Just don't leave grill marks, but that doesn't really matter. I Was skeptical at first because it just looked like a flexible cookie sheet but it worked well and was slick. I didn't lose any chopped vegetables. I was a little concerned that the BBQ grill mat did not have holes in it, but after using it with my pellet grill, I am not concerned! Cleanup was great and looking forward to using it again. Love it for fish! These mats worked as described and I was pleased with the result. They are easy to clean. I’ve tried other grill mats That didn’t work as well. These mats by far are the best. Would highly recommend them.

I've used my BBQ grill mat 3 times now and they are awesome! You wouldn’t know I used a mat to cook my meat except my grill was clean & clean up was a breeze.  Best grilling mat our there. No more uncooked or lost food through the grating. Tossed my old non YRYM HT ones in the trash. My guy loves that the BBQ doesn't get so dirty - and the mats are a cinch to clean. We've used them to cook various meats and absolutely love how good grilled veggies taste. Given the fact that these mats separate your food from the grill, I halfway expected that the cooked food would look pale and not have that "grilled" appearance, but that is definitely not the case. We had a party on Memorial Day and grilled chicken on the mats. Watching the fellas watch the cooking process was a hoot! More than one of them asked about how to get mats for themselves, and of course, we supplied the info. We are both big fans of the Grill Mats.

I just found out about the Grill Mats. Now have found YRYM HT has one of best reviews so bought some. Love the higher degree (600) so you don’t have to worry about your cooking temp. I liked these mats well enough that after buying a set for Florida, I bought another set for the grill at home. They make cleanup a LOT easier!  Opted to cut one up since I ran out of baking paper. Now I've got one heck of a baking sheet! Just wipe it off and you're done. Replaced a pair of grill mats I purchased last year from another website. I like that they are slightly larger and after a single use perform as good as the pair from last year. Overall initial quality is satisfactory only time will tell how they hold up through the summer grilling season.
