how to use grill mat

Is this grill mat a coated fabric or is it a sheet of Teflon with no reinforcement? Answer: It's not fabric. It's very bendy which is great. Easy to slide in and out to give it a quick rinse when your pie bubbles over.    How many times can it be used before needs replacing? Have only had mine for a month or so but anything that spills on it washes of easily so far. I expect it will last for sometime with normal use. I use it in my oven only. Once it is placed in oven it can last several years. I only remove it to clean it .  Depends on how often you use your oven and how many spills. I clean mine after each spill and it lasts a long, long time.  i use it for months. Occasionally take it out and wash it off when needed . We replace it yearly, but we do use our oven almost everyday. The liner does a good job when it comes to spill overs. Easy clean up. A good product. It is a perfect fit to our oven.  I've had these kinds of liners before and after awhile they're just worn through where the element sits on it I guess from the heat. When it gets like that then I replace it, so there's really no set time. Hope this helps!

Are they meant to go on the floor of an electric oven? Yes. I have used it under the electric coil. That being said with it being that close to the heat source it does wear out faster and if there are heavy spills they sometimes fade in that spot. I currently have a wall oven so my coil is in the top so it's not directly near the heat.  yes they go on the floor of the electric oven try it you will love them.  I don't know about electric ovenes but they say no to gas oven floors.  Yes, underneath the floor element. grill tools It should raise up. If the oven has heating rack at bottom. Goes under.. follow instruction on the box. Yes. I took the racks out of the oven, lifted the electric element in the bottom and inserted the liner. It is fantastic. When anything drips on it, I wait until it is cool, slide it out, wash it and return it.

Yes, they slide under the heating elements.  Do I have to remove them when toasting or using the broiler? I have never removed them for anything. I do love them though. I love when I make pizza, or pies the mess is so much easier to clean up! Check the temperature guide, and see how high the temp will take.  No, leave it in. They only time I remove it is to clean it or self-clean the oven. I like it so I bought them for my children . I just leave them in the oven except to wash after baking a messy pie. I really don't know about toasting, where to buy grill mat but have broiled with no ill effect. The only time you have to remove is when the oven is in self clean mode.  Is this good for a breville bov845bss smart oven pro convection toaster oven. if elements on bottom and this has to be under it, does that mean you cannot use it to place food directly on either.

Not sure how to answer. The liner goes underneath the element on the oven floor to catch spills. I have not used it in direct contact with food.  The instructions tell you that you can use them safely up to 500 degrees so, its best not to go over 450 degrees with them. Just remove after any spills and clean. Then replace back in the oven after cleaning. If you ever used the alumnin ones, these work pretty much the same way. You can order them singularly or up to packs of 3. I ordered the 3 pack and shared the two others with 2 different neighbors. I just replaced my alumnium one with one of these several months back when receiving same. Haven't had any problems with it when following their instructions.   I bought these for my daughter’s new oven. They are thin so I’m not sure they would hold up to that. I asked someone else how they liked them and he said they have to be replaced pretty often due to repeatedly high heat exposure. Guess that’s why there’s a 3 pack . Sorry I wasn’t more helpful.
