grill mats are easy to clean up

I've tried several other brands for use on our infrared grill, and these appear to be the best quality for the money. They are very flexible and easy to trim with standard shears. Clean up is great with dish soap and hot water, and virtually no scrubbbing necessary -- even with baked-on marinades. Even though they're non-stick, I still brush them lightly with cooking oil to retain the moisture when cooking meats and fish. Yes, I do get desired grill marks, without drying out the items being cooked. I've only had them a short time and can only hope that they don't develop surface holes like most of the others. I love these to 1) keep the grill clean 2) keep all your items. Even your small veggies won't fall through the grates. 3) You STILL get grill marks! These things are the greatest thing since sliced bread for grilling. These are so much better than expected! Grills everything perfectly and no mess on the grill. Plus sooo easy to clean, a little soap & water and perfect.

i will say that they appear to fray and warp a bit after repeated use, and don't really clean up all that well in the dishwasher..... but when hand cleaned, properly stored, and used within the operating parameters (<500F), these things come out looking fresh each time, and I expect these to last and relegate my wire brush to the trash heap.Not reall non stick. Kabob did ok but fish stuck really bad. Burnt on crust was hard to get off after soaking all night. Was just easier to trash them. Not sure why, but this mat seems to cleanup better than others I've tried. It performs on a grill like the other mats, but does not seem to leave what look like sooty areas after cleaning. I clean the mat with Dawn and hot water using a Dobie scrubber after every use, and this one emerges cleaner. Very happy with the product. Durability seems better as well.

My brother introduced us to these when visiting his home. My husband now using grill mats for all grill outs. Works really well. Will last maybe a year before it starts to fall apart. I use my grill mat for the first time and I was impress, the chicken did not stick it work perfectly. This is fine for keeping the grill clean but where it puts the grill mark on the food seems to be on the burnt side. It is nice but don't think I would buy again. Fireproof mats, make cooking cleanup easier. My mats were on fire, or I should say the meat on the mats was on fire in my grill and the mats came out fine and all the charred stuff just wiped off easily. Made my grill cleanup easy. I was impressed with the overall durability of this product. The one thing I don't like is that they can be difficult to clean and seem to maintain a sort of oily/greasy residue after washing.
