butcher wrapping paper VS tin foil for smoking meat

We wanted to try a different method when using our smoker. The butcher wrapping paper worked better than we expected. The fat saturated the kraft butcher paper allowing the meat to baste with out causing the outer bark to get soggy or separate. It is important to use butcher paper that is not coated. Great value and exactly what I was looking for. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. This was a great choice. Easy to use. I didn't even wrap my paper with string. I cut it the size I needed and folded it over and placed folded size down. I cooked my brisket unwrapped half the time and finished it with YRYM HT kraft butcher paper for the rest of the time for moisture and crispiness on the outside. It worked great. Great Buy! I did receive my E Book. Love the recipes.

Cooked a brisket, wrapped it up at the stall and the kraft butcher paper worked great. I used to cover table for steamed crabs. Worked as needed, made clean up easy. I use this product to wrap meat in my smoker. It absolutely meets my expectations! After reading about people wrapping their brisket in this part way through smoking to keep the moisture in, I decided to give it a try for my first brisket. It turned out great. The bark was excellent and the meat was still juicy. Exactly what hubby has been looking for. Fast ship.. Thank you will buy again. The paper performed well. What I liked about it was that it soaked up a lot of extra fat on the brisket so it was not greasy. I used butcher wrapping paper instead of tin foil while cooking ribs. The results were great. A more firmer bark on the ribs tin foil tends to steam item that are wrapped initial.

What do you say about butcher wrapping paper? It is what is, great product, great price. Great addition to the kitchen prep and smoker use. Put the paper down while prepping a brisket and it made clean up supper simple. Also used while smoking the brisket to hit the final cooked temp. Been wanting to try this and glad I did. Did a great job with my smoked ribs! Would definitely recommend this! Large roll! Delivered fast, paper is great but 4 stars because it does not come with the book! UPDATE, I had the email with the ebook, all is good! Thanks guys, the product arrived safe & sound. Hubby love the kraft butcher paper keep food more moist and food is even better than was before. We don’t reuse the paper though so not sure why they ask if it’s easy to clean unless they meant that there no mess on our smoker to clean than yes. I use this for my Texas crutch to wrap my ribs and brisket on the smoker. Holds up well and keeps juices in. Does not leak. Tough stuff, had my brisket in there for 5h, nicely rendering in it's own juices, not a single drop escaped. Very happy with the product, arrived on time and the eBook was a nice extra, I'll definitely try some of these recipes!
