I've not used the grill cooking mat yet, but plan to use one at home and the other in our RV. It will be so nice not to have to clean the grills after every use. I'm certain we'll use them more often, now. I have tried the mat using chicken and it worked very well. It kept the grease off the fire so it did not burn. Works great but after being overused from a family who cooks out all summer long. I was a little disappointed when I saw the quality of the grill cooking mat start to wear out. Very easy to use and cleaning is a breeze! I haven't tried mine yet but my brother-in-law raves about how great they are. I hope to try our this weekend. Works great, as advertised. I use one on my outside gas grill, and part of the other as a lining in the broiling pan in my Toaster Oven.
I have one on my Weber and one on my Traeger.. absolutely love them. I LOVE, LOVE the YRYM HT Barbecue Grill Mats. I have recommended them to friends and I know 2 of them have just purchased them. My son in law usually mans the grill on weekends..He is totally amazed and sees the difference to the other brand that I used in the past..The best thing about YRYM HT, NO SCRUBBING after. I know these will be given as gifts to many of family and friends at Christmas. So glad I paid a little more so worth it. I had already been through 2 other brands that lasted no more than 2-3 uses. Great grill cooking mat! Cooked a 2" London Broil with mat. Cooked perfectly med. rare in about 1/2 time than without using mat. No flareups or burnt steak. Highly recommend! Much thicker and more durable than other mats out there. I had less expensive ones that ripped after using for only one month. Also, easier clean up!
Way better than the Yoshi!!! Great item for searing tuna steaks!!! Worked great. Chicken was moist and tasty. Cleanup was easy. Can't believe I have lived without the YRYM HT BBQ grill mat! Perfect for fish fillets, shrimp, chicken, and veggies. I have not tired it on steak yet, but that is next! No flare up or food falling through the grates. Perfectly cooked food and easy to clean! I'm somewhat impressed it this when I used it in my portable BBQ'er camping. I wanted the temperature high for steaks and it wouldn't get over 300 degrees. I'm not sure if it was because the BTU's for the BBQ'er wasn't sufficient or what, but I won't be using it. I also have a Traeger but haven't used this in it yet. The Traeger puts out more BTU's so I don't think it will be a problem.
